Abstract: 

Analyzing motion patterns in traffic videos can be exploited directly to generate highlevel descriptions of the video contents. Such descriptions may further be employed in different traffic applications such as traffic phase detection and abnormal event detection. One of the most recent and successful unsupervised methods for complex traffic scene analysis is based on topic models. In this paper, a two-level Sparse Topical Coding (STC) topic model is proposed to analyze traffic surveillance video sequences which contain hierarchical patterns with complicated motions and co-occurrences. The first level STC model is applied to automatically cluster optical flow features into motion patterns. Then, the second level STC model is used to cluster motion patterns into traffic phases. Experiments on a real world traffic dataset demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method against conventional onelevel topic model based methods. The results show that our two-level STC can successfully discover not only the lower level activities but also the higher level traffic phases, which makes a more appropriate interpretation of traffic scenes. Furthermore, based on the two-level structure, either activity anomalies or traffic phase anomalies can be detected, which cannot be achieved by the one-level structure.

Abstract: 

In this paper, conventional SAPO-34 and Cerium hierarchical SAPO-34 zeolites are synthesized using a hydrothermal method for methanol-to-propylene (MTP) reaction. The Ce-H-SAPO-34 catalyst shows a slightly larger crystal size, bimodal pore size distribution (microporous and mesoporous) and lower surface acidity compared to conventional SAPO-34 catalysts. According to these physicochemical properties and the previously suggested reaction mechanisms on the conventional SAPO-34 catalyst, a new reaction network is introduced for Ce-H-SAPO-34 catalyst. This was based on the data collected from a catalytic micro reactor in the temperature range of 390-450° C and at atmospheric pressure. The lumped kinetic model and the reaction rate expression have been introduced by considering the reaction network. The parameters were then estimated based on the experimental data using genetic algorithms. Comparing the experiments with the predicted data suggests a good correlation between the experimental data and the model.

Abstract: 

Road safety is recognized as one of the most important factors in transportation system of the world as well as in reducing road accidents. Currently, heavy expenses are spent for reducing road accidents and casualties, however, authorizes haven't so far achieved satisfactory and desirable results. It appears that adoption of global solutions might be effective in securing roads safety and making necessary planning and management in this regard. In the present study, researcher with the use of AHP Fuzzy method has tried to identify and determine the importance level of the effective factors on the safety of northern roads in Iran. For this purpose, a research population consisted of 125 traffic and transport mangers, practitioners and experts have responded to a 78-item questionnaire and finally, 23 factors were identified as the effective factors on safety of the northern roads of Iran. Research results indicated that with the adoption of AHP FUZZY method, the indicators of advertising in national media, reduced average age of vehicles and appropriate designing of road geometry respectively have the highest weight and importance with 0. 126, 0. 082 and 0. 065 weights.

Abstract: 

In the survival analysis, when there is a cure fraction and the occurrence times of events are correlated, the cure frailty model is utilized. The main objective is to propose a method of analysis for two types of correlated frailty in the non-mixture cured model in order to separate the individual and shared heterogeneity between subjects. The cure models with correlated frailty and promotion time are considered. In both models, the likelihood function are based on piecewise exponential distribution for hazard function. To estimate the parameters, hierarchical Bayesian modeling is employed. Due to non-closed forms of the posteriors, they are estimated by MCMC algorithms. The Cox correlated frailty model is used as a benchmark and models are compared by DIC Criterion. The results show the superiority of cure models with correlated frailty.

Abstract: 

Introduction: Scientometric study is one of the efficient methods of academic evaluation in authentic databases. hierarchical clustering is also a useful instrument in providing an overview of a studies in a field and understanding of its knowledge structure. Therefore, this study tries to explore the intellectual structure of the studies carried out in the field of gastric cancer. Methods: This study was carried out using co-word analysis and hierarchical clustering of scientometric methods with an analytical approach. The study population included keywords of articles indexed in Web of Science database in the field of stomach cancer from 1979 to 2019. The population included 58, 709 records indexed on the Web of Science database from 1979 to 2019 and included 207, 625 keyword extracted. Data were analyzed through strategic and dendrogram chart. Results: Findings related to hierarchical clustering by Ward method led to the formation of four clusters in this domain: Cell signaling in cancer, Oncogenes and cancer, Roll of cell cycle and check points in cancer, Reasons and diagnosis. The clusters 2 and 1 (Oncogenes and cancer and Cell signaling in cancer) had the highest and lowest concentration among the clusters, respectively. Besides, clusters 1 and 2 (Cell signaling in cancer and Oncogenes and cancer) had respectively the highest and lowest density among the clusters. Conclusion: hierarchical clustering has the potential of providing a clear image of the academic structure of studies in the gastric cancer domain. The results of the analysis of articles in the field of gastric cancer that led to the identification of underdeveloped areas can be an academic basis for future researchers.

Abstract: 

In today's age, the Internet has become the most important source of information and its supply for many goods and services due to its ease of use, wide range and high speed. The unique characteristics of the Internet and its complete superiority over other markets have led many organizations to expand their services and products in the Internet markets. Therefore, the Internet environment has become a very competitive environment for organizations. In the process of buying and checking user and consumer behavior, goods or services will be exchanged, and these goods or services can be information, physical or virtual products, and even emotions. Many kinds of research have been conducted in the analysis of users' behavior, but these researches were not highly accurate, therefore, in this research, an attempt was made to provide a solution for recommending items based on users' past behaviors to improve the accuracy of past methods. This proposed method can eliminate the noise in the data by using fuzzy logic and hierarchical analysis which is used for the phase of selecting the effective features and also works on more effective data to increase the accuracy. The tree proposed in this research has the lowest possible height and this causes the computational overhead to be greatly reduced. The proposed method was compared with several competing methods and the results indicate the superiority of the proposed method over the compared methods.

Abstract: 

Global society is characterized by its philosophical, ethical and religious disagreements. What are the implications of the doctrinal conflict for the understanding of a conception of human rights? In this paper, I briefly explain John Rawls’ conception of human rights, which is distinct from and narrower than his conception of justice (i. e., justice as fairness). Rawls conceives human rights as minimal, but necessary requirements of justice – although not sufficient from a liberal point of view – that can be satisfied by various political systems. Rawls argues that human rights are common to all peoples, since they are compatible with all reasonable political morality, including those of both “ liberal” and “ decent hierarchical” peoples. The central idea of Rawls’ account is that, a conception of human rights suitable for a pluralistic world must be independent from controversial philosophical, ethical or religious doctrines. Such a conception must serve as the object of an overlapping consensus among different ethical and religious traditions; each may offer the different lines of argument.

Abstract: 

Bridges are the key element of land transportation and due to the large number and cost of construction, the maintenance of these huge assets is very important. As the financial resources are usually limited, selecting and prioritizing bridges for maintenance is complicated. Therefore, by using bridge management system (BMS) software, bridge maintenance is done more quickly and accurately. In this study, using the hierarchical Analytical System (AHP) method, first the criteria and parameters affecting the management of the bridge have been determined and then the importance of the mentioned parameters has been studied and analyzed based on the opinion of experts. Finally, it has been concluded that "design according to codes and regulations", "quality of materials" and "quality and accuracy of construction" are the most important criteria that must be considered before starting the operation of the bridge. Furthermore, effective parameters in bridge management system software are "user safety", "type, number and severity of defects" and "maintenance costs". Thus, the desired criteria and parameters according to the priority can be used in prioritization models and budget allocation.
